I have only read Bad Boys for Hire: Ken by Rachelle Ayala so far. I will update my review as I finish the other books.

Bad Boys for Hire is a business providing actors for hire to fill requests for clients, usually for fake boyfriends & party dates. Ken is an ex-surfer, model, actor that works for the service. He is asked to take on the role as a groom to help a bride save face after the groom didn't show. What the bride doesn't know is that her friends gagged & tied him up after they caught him having sex with the stripper from the bachelor party. Jolie has extreme OCD & likes her lists a little too much. She decides to go through with the honeymoon exactly as the groom planned even though she was either allergic to them or couldn't follow through with the activities for one reason or another. After it didn't work out to have Ken step in for the groom, Jolie's friend, Nikki, paid Ken to come to Hawaii & accidentally meet up with Jolie & pay attention to her. Actually, she only ended up paying for his sister's plane ticket. Ken paid his own way since he has had a crush on Jolie since elementary school.

I enjoy Rachelle's style of writing. It's easy to read & flows nicely. The characters are well developed & likable. You find yourself rooting for Ken even with the dishonesty. Both Ken & Jolie have their own journeys to follow before they find the path to love. Jolie needs to realize she can let go of the control at times without everything falling apart & that she has more to offer than her lists of allergies. Ken needs to understand that he is lovable for himself & not just his looks & surfing. He can let people in on his fears without them leaving. Can Ken & Jolie find their way to each other or will their fears get in the way?

She wants her sire to save his grandson's life for if he refuses Lazerus will join his father a fallen angel in death or become a demon. Reluctantly as he had not done with his mortal daughter, Romulus agrees to convert Lazerus to a life as an undead under the stipulation that he change Octavia too so she can teach him the way of the Nazarene as he has followed. With an heir, a weary Romulus can enter the sun.
In 1095 Ireland Lazerus is married to a tracker Neomina, keeper of sacred holy icons. Lazerus leads his vampyric New Breed, but he knows the prophecy is coming that his grandfather explained to his mother five centuries ago. The demons that destroyed Rome are back to finish the job with the only hope for Lazerus and his tribe to survive let alone win is his wife, but she remains unaware of her power.

COME THE NIGHT is a delightful paranormal romantic thriller that will give immense pleasure to fans of horror, romance, and suspense. Historical tidbits and religious elements enhance the exciting story line. The cast is deep and the key members so developed that angels, vampyres, trackers, and demons seem almost everyday normal though the adventures are not. Angelique Armae provides a powerful vampyric romance that will fully entertain across the genres.

In 1815 Ireland Donovan Bramwell is a mixed breed part vampire and part mortal. His grandfather heads the Protectorate, an organization consisting of vampires and humans at war with the malevolent Upyran Vampires sect that sees mortals as the lowest rung of the food chain. Donovan hates both sides. When the Upyran Vampires Prince Vestos bit him and killed his father, the Protectorate did nothing.

Now his grandfather has become a total vampire so he expects his heir Donovan to lead The Protectorate or he will be left penniless and homeless. At the same time Donovan deliberates his future, Ceni Princess Iceni needs help regaining her lost amulet stolen by Vastos when the vampires and their Roman allies eradicated her people. She chooses Donovan as her best bet and starts to seduce him into being her loyal slave, but her effort fails when he reads her mind. Still he finds a desire to help Ceni and wonders if she already completed her seduction of what is left of his soul that he fears will make him enslaved to Vastos. However Vastos has his own dilemma as he knows his soul is rotting. To save himself he either must kill Donovan or Iceni for he is a Dead Walker too.

DEAD WALKERS: THE PROTECTORATE is a terrific fantasy that provides the audience a powerful tale in which the three prime species, vampires, mortals, and the quasi seem genuine especially in their varying interrelationships. The action-packed story line provides insight into the diverse vampiric clans and how the quasi live in human and vampiric camps. The triangle of life and death between the lead trio makes for a compelling one sitting supernatural thriller, but it's the world they live in that fascinates readers.
