I really liked the mix of steampunk and dragons, but the story itself felt a bit.... standard.
Paisley and Dax are ok protagonists, but they didn't stand out, and the whole mystery about their parents felt like something I've read before.
I don't have any complaints about this book, but as adult reader I didn't love it.
