Where to start? I don't know what level to rate this book because it's about babies and in the form of a baby book in that it only has a couple words per page, is shaped/made as if it were a nursery rhyme, and has flaps to flip open like children's books do. HOWEVER, while the way that it's created seems like it would be geared towards babies, I would never introduce this book in a classroom for the grades that I intend to teach. I am hoping to teach kindergarten only, and even if I get assigned to a little bit older grade, I don't think the book makes enough sense for me to need to teach this in my classroom. I also don't really know what to tag it because there really isn't much to the book.… (mais)
