About the Author
Ursula Bacon fled Nazi Germany with her parents in 1939 and landed in Shanghai, China along with 18,000 other Middle-European refugees. The family spent most of the war years in a Japanese-controlled "Designated Area" often referred to as a ghetto. She married a young refugee in Shanghai and came mostrar mais to the United States in 1947 where she settled in Denver, raised two children, and lived the American Dream. Today, Ursula lectures and conducts writing/publishing workshops. She is a frequent keynote speaker at women's conferences and other educational events mostrar menos
