Cam Banks

I have never, nor do I think I will ever, watched Smallville the television series. However, I have an interest in superhero roleplaying and like the way that this system embraces both the powers and a type of roleplaying that encourages collaborative storytelling. There is certainly a lot of "monster of the week", beat up the bad-guy, superheros, but, to me, superheros are at their best when they are dealing with the real world, their relationships and values.

Regarding my personal experience playing in the Cortex Plus system (particularly this configuration), it hacked well to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (reworking powers to fit the flavor of the show) and fairly well to Harry Potter (again, with powers reworked).… (mais)
