The children seemed to really enjoy this one. They especially loved the fold out pages/petals at the end. They might have appreciated a lot more if they were here in person.

This is a very interactive book. Every page has a flap that shows more about the dinosaur. It is also a factual book.

First there is an egg, then it hatches out and becomes a caterpillar that begins munching on leaves and gets bigger and bigger. Then it turns into a chrysalis. After that it hatches into a butterfly. I would recommend this as a read aloud. The reader can ask questions throughout to find out what is going to happen next. I loved this book. Not only does it have adorable animals, but it gives a dose of reality about endangered species. Each page has a fact about the dangers that the particular animal. The last page of this book is the best and really makes you think about what we are doing to the animals on the planet. Love, Love, Love.
