Alison Bechdel

I enjoyed the re-read a lot more. Probably from having read more Bechdel. But I enjoy the solipsistic parts that are essentially what became her later ouvre more than the stuff about her father. But still, much more engaging than I remembered.

Interesting graphic novel about a complex mother - daughter relationship.

I was impressed by its complexity, but I can't say I loved reading it.

I had average hopes for this book and I ended up hating it.
