I wonder what's wrong with "me"! I really enjoyed this book, yet it has received low ratings here at LT, and has been universally dissed at various review sites. I thought I was a fairly savvy Regency fan yet I obviously missed a whole lot of BAD in this book. I've beem reading Regency-set romances for more than 40 years. Yes, it had its flaws - most books do; yes it kinda fell apart in the last 60 pages; but overall what I enjoyed in the book was what other sites picked apart like vultures. Bah on them. I make no excuses for enjoying this book - I liked it a lot. Get over it, reviewers. Those who can, write; those who can't.....well, they do other things.… (mais)
