For the amount of times this was hyped up in my Children's Literature textbook, I feel a bit let down by the story and depth. The art is very easy to follow, and the maps helpful, but it left a lot to be desired.

graphic nonfiction. This is very very condensed, but readable.

I'm sure its a decent adaptation of Lewis and Clark's expedition - I just have very little interest in these kind of straight-up historical narratives. Did not rate because I'm sure its decent...

Lewis and Clark at their most physically and mentally vulnerable. A familiar story that is stunningly told, shown, unfolded. Haunting and inspiring. This is history that opens doors and asks questions rather than providing facts and answers. The story begins in the final pages as much as it ends.
