Summary:This book is about three goats who are trying to cross a bride but a mean troll lives underneath. The first two each find a way into tricking the troll so that they can cross. Finally the big goat stands up to the troll and they all make it to the other side.
Personal reaction: It is a cute story. I think children would enjoy the goats talking as though they were humans.
Classroom extentions: I think this book would great to use in a lesson about bullying and how to handle a situation when it occurs beside fighting. This could also be used for somewhat older children in a drama class. They could divide into groups of four and act out there version of the story.… (mais)

There are three billy-goats that want to cross a bridge, but there is a troll who lives under the bridge. The troll wants to eat them for lunch. One by one the billy- goats trick the troll into letting them cross the bridge.
