Thought provoking and interesting collection of essays. Best suited for die-hard fans of the show who want to revisit it through different lenses. The prose can definitely be a bit academic and dry, so it's worth knowing that going in.

I enjoyed the TV show; am a devoted fan. This collection of essays was not my cup of tea, mostly because it intellectualized the Tv drama beyond my interest. For sure if you want to delve into the philosophy and psychology behind the scenes of this tremendous show, go for it. The book is well-written and thorough.

This collection of essays analyzing the TV show seemed very erudite: written at the college level for those who study media. I didn't get the feeling that they were trying to be accessible to the lay public, so I'd recommend this mostly for those well-educated folks.

The extremely popular television program Breaking Bad is placed under a microscope and examined from many points of view - ethically, philosophically, sociologically, narratively. Much too anal for my tastes, but it might be perfect for an audience of novice writers, or sociologists, or rabid and highly intellectual fans of the show.
