This is a cute story of a boy who sets up a story booth and "sells" his stories to his friends. Each friend that stops by gets a custom story based on something they have said or done with the author. The book alternates between telling the story, and showing the stories that the boy is writing. Children will enjoy the colorful illustrations and may be inspired to write stories of their own.

Rufus decided to open a writing stand. He would write a story for each of his friends in exchange for whatever they wanted to give him. I loved this book because it urges children to explore their imagination and write stories. Maybe they will even open up a story stand of their own.
