This book was given to me for free by the Goodreads Giveaways program.

When I read the description I was sure I had misunderstood it - it couldn't be a blank book. I was mistaken - this is, indeed, a pretty blank book with numbered pages. It's perfect bound, which might make it a bit awkward as a sketchbook. Other than that, it does exactly what it sets out to do :)

Sexual tension runs throughout this romance/mystery where just when you think Jacie and Sloan are going to take the final step they either are interrupted or hold back as they try and figure out if they can make their relationship work, coming as they do from two different worlds. From almost her first day at Timber Falls "accidents" start happening to Jacie and I didn't see the whodunnit coming. Brad was down right annoying and it was a pity Jacie couldn't get her number changed once he'd gotten ahold of it. There were three errors in the book; the 1st on page where Jaice said dryly, "Otherwise they take over your live." I'm guessing that "live" should be life. 2nd on page 62, "He landed beside him, his breath warm on her cheek." The "he" should be she? These were little typos. The last on page 226 a sentence was transposed. "He stuffed a flashlight in her back pocket, gave her a quick put his hand behind her head and gave her a kiss, then lowered her over the edge." I read that couple of times before reconstructing the thus, " put his hand behind her head and gave her a quick kiss, then lowered her over the edge." It was a quick read because the main characters were so likeable, the plot wasn't upstaged by graphic sex, and you did want to find out who was behind those "accidents".… (mais)
