{My thoughts} – Unicorn and Yeti enjoy playing games with one another. In this book they play play ball, which turns into ring toss, they race and they ice skate. They have a lot of fun together and learn that not everyone can do the same things in the same way, or the same things period.

The text in this book goes hand and hand with the illustrations. The illustrations help to tell a more in depth story about what is going on within the book. I really enjoy books that are written in a beginner graphic novel type style for younger children. I strongly believe that books like this have the potential to help keep children interested in reading in the future! I look forward to reading more books in this series soon.… (mais)

{My thoughts} – A fun new beginner reader series. Unicorn and Yeti are two unlikely friends. Unicorn has magic and Yetti doesn’t. However, the two of them find things to do together they they both enjoy. One of those things is a fun snowball fight. It does take Unicorn a bit to figure out how to participate with hooves, but once she does they have a lot of fun.

I really enjoy how the text and the images blend together flawlessly. I also like how it is written in a beginner graphic novel like way. I enjoy books like this because to me they help to keep young children interested in reading. They don’t use a whole lot of text, but mostly the illustrations tell the story. Books like this are perfect for young readers and have a lot of potential. I look forward to reading more books in this series in the future.… (mais)

This funny graphic novel shows the relationship between two unique characters, a unicorn and a yeti. I would recommend this book to Kinders because of the illustrations and childish theme about it but I would also recommend this book to 2nd or 3rd as a start to read graphic novels because of the panels throughout the pages.
