The Making of Modern Colombia: A Nation in Spite of… por David Bushnell
Heavily focused on politics, I found the book dry and slow. Although clearly researched in depth, and written by one of the foremost experts in Colombian history, the book did not satisfy my desire to come to know the country more. It was a slog for me.
