This book is for cat lovers all over the world. It includes wonderful illustrations of the most popular breeds and answers to many questions concerning a cats behavior and health. Specific origination and a brief historical background about each breed is also included.

Many cat books include a section at the back focusing specifically on breeds, but this book focuses on breeds throughout the book. It begins with a tiny bit of general information before it begins to discuss breeding and then each individual breed. Each breed has one (rarely two) page with a lot of information and an illustration (sometimes also a photograph). Very focused on breeding, but still only as much information on each breed as many other books.
