I only gave this book two stars because of the tone of the author. In a nutshell she made it clear that if you don't agree with her you are of the devil. Opposition to her position is based on misogynist beliefs or a desire to protect male dominance. She doesn't seem to think it possible for a Bible believing Christian to think differently. Without the vitriol I would give it three stars for effort. It would be helpful if her point was clearly evidenced after she provided her "Biblical Defense of Women in Ministry" but unfortunately it is not. Although she has an MDiv from Princeton Seminary her presentation of this biblical defense in light of biblical studies leaves something to be desired. Only the choir will be convinced of her argument due to its overall presentation although she does make some good points that need consideration by hierarchicalists.… (mais)
