Contained within this collection of anecdotes covering a variety of sports are 27 anecdotes relating to Australian Rules football. The majority of these relate to VFL or AFL football. All anecdotes appear to be sourced from other published sources such as books, newspapers and magazines. Each anecdote includes a citation details for the original publication.
Somewhat dated now, this encyclopaedic tome on every Australian first-class cricket provides brief bios (extremely brief in most cases) and relevant statistics.
While it was certainly a labour of love by the contributors, in the Internet age it all seems passé, with players' stats and more at your fingertips and no becoming out-dated the moment another first-class cricket match is played.
Still, this "A-Z of Australian Cricketers" no doubt helped our friends at Cricinfo and Cricket Archive correctly collate the stats they use, so the authors deserve our admiration.… (mais)
