This book is a Tarzan retelling that takes place in the present day. Thorne and his parents crashed their plane into the Ugandan jungle. He is taken in by gorillas after his parents are killed. Years later Eden is a photographer on a tour into the Ugandan jungle when her group (all but her) is attacked and killed. Thorne rescues her and the story goes from there.

I was skeptical when I started this, but I ended up really enjoying it. I liked the characters and how their story played out. I will recommend this to people I think would enjoy it.… (mais)

REVIEW: A wonderful combination of an old classic applied to current world issues. Ms. Castle honors the myth while making it more relevant and believable. The characters are richly woven. Adding a little heat to the tale was done with just the right amount of spice. Eden is quickly swept into the plight of the African wildlife. Poachers, treasure hunters and the simply naïve threaten the delicate ecosystem. Thorne struggles valiantly to protect his wild family and the woman he rescued. This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
