I hate to leave really bad ratings on short stories. This book had real potential but the execution was horrible. I never could figure out how Molly came to feel so strongly about Julian. One rescue doesn’t give you that kind of a love. I just think the entire book fell short on telling a story. I think Minx has great ideas but, sometimes you have to be able to tell a story to the reader. I just felt nothing was in place and maybe a little out of order. Definitely glad it was a free read.
