But the benefits are immense for a non-native speaker like myself.
The most important lesson is: Be careful and review a lot.
Chapter on punctuation is hard to read but very valuable nonetheless. First time being told the exact rules governing those pesky semicolons and dashes.

Heavy duty grammar. It is definitely hard work to read this, but worth it.

A thorough introduction to editing your writing or the writing of others. The book has numerous illustrations--some of them quite funny--to show typical errors and how to correct such errors. The book does contain quite a bit of grammatical jargon. While this is to be expected, it does make for some very dry reading.

No nonsense advice on how to go in and edit your writing.
