Readers will learn about the animals survived the cold climate of the Ice Age. Animals during this period were bulky and large to survive the cold. In order for humans to survive, they had to fashion their own weapons and hunt for their food. The “Ice Agers” kept track of time and documented things by engraving images into bone disks or painting on cave walls. These people continued to develop intellectually, by improving their tools, which ultimately increased their chance of survival.
