Kunal K. Das is a professor of physics and an active researcher in the fields of nanotechnology and ultracold atoms with ongoing funding from the National Science Foundation. The science in this book is really cool, bit I felt I was getting hit over the head with all the exclamation points. The examples felt a bit corny and some of the "jokes" were a bit dad-ish (sexist, dated). It reads like an old high school science teacher trying a little too hard to be cool. But I think science IS cool, so it wasn't a total loss.
