Carol Davis (1)

Part 3 of carol Davis' trilogy. A decent romance but too light to be re-read. Most of ti was fine but I hated the heroine's best friend who was like a manic person with only a few depressive episodes.

It was a sweet romance but I really didn't love it. Too saccharine in places. One obnoxious best friend who set my teeth on edge and I couldn't understand why the heroine stayed friends with her.

Sweet novella. Good enough that I read the subsequent sequels but not something I'd read again. I thought the best friend character was totally obnoxious and no matter how I tried, it was hard to believe that the heroine would actually be friends with her. She seemed like she was bipolar with only manic episodes.

Charming but short vignettes of a father's relationship with his daughter from babyhood to marriage. I enjoyed reading them but I didn't think these were as good as the author's Lake Saga on LiveJournal. I thought they had more depth, perhaps because those stories used characters drawn from a TV series and so had deeper backstories.
