Really Woolly: My First Easter is a uniquely shaped board book with a cut-out handle. The eggs bows, and Easter grass on the cover have a glittery texture. I adore the message, illustrations, and layout. Each turn of the page gives a sweet poem, a corresponding verse, and a one-sentence prayer.

The rhyming poems have a lilting cadence, making them fun to read, with titles of: The Joy of Spring, The Joy of Rain, The Joy of New Beginnings, The Joy of Growing, The Joy of Easter, The Joy of Jesus, and The Joy in My Heart.

The book exudes joy and the wonderful blessings during springtime and Easter. The adorable illustrations include a lamb, bunny, and duckling, along with a few friends they meet along the way. The poems capture the uniqueness of Eastertime, with rainbows, rain, blossoms, gardens, and of course the Easter story of the Resurrection. The perfect Easter Basket gift for little ones.

This is the perfect first Bible for toddlers and young children! It is a board book so the pages are sturdy and easy for young fingers to turn; the illustrations are bright and colorful; and the text is easy for children to understand. There are 18 Bible stories with the scripture associated with that story and they begin with God's Creation and end with the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What is especially important is that each story has a heart symbol with the words My God Loves Me and a reason why He loves them. Young children will love knowing they are so special to God!

A child is never too small to be taught the importance of God's Word and parents and grandparents will enjoy reading this with their little ones! Cecilie Fodor has created the perfect book to give as a stocking stuffer or birthday gift.
