Those Devils, The Experiments Book 1 by James DeSantis is a suspenseful short story. I gave it three stars. The unnamed protagonist is being hunted by what he calls 'those devils'. Yet, he has killed some of them himself. I found the twists & turns confusing.

I have to say I am a fan of the author's short stories and this doesn't disappoint. I would advise reading "Those Devils" before reading this one to understand what is going on. That being said, I would love to see this world expanded into a full novel one day.

The unnamed protagonist works for Sunshine Bank. "Being presentable all the time is hard enough but add on the fact that you have to pretend to be cheerful to half the people who hate your guts isn't the easiest task in the world."
