Some of the facts include the different classificatins of the woodchuck and alligator, their habitat, their habits and distinctive physical characteristics. Then, it contains some have you wondered questions for both species for example; have you ever wondered what woodchucks do in the winter? Then, it tells the page you can go to for the answer on that particular page.

I like this book because it helps the reader gain insight on the speicies that is being read about. It also provide definition for words that the reader might not know.

This book can be put out in the science area so children can read about different animals. Can be read when when talking about the different foods animals eat. Have the children draw a picture of a woodchuck /alligator.… (mais)
