This entire book is a lesson in perspective. I love that every picture is actual size and makes sure the reader knows this from the beginning. It compares how much sugar cane is in a single piece of candy and shows life-size pictures of both side by side and then describes how long it takes a snail to go 10 inches (2 minutes, if you were curious) and shows a picture of this happening. This informational text compares different objects around the world using life-size photographs. An example of a page from this book is comparing 100 items, such as 100 grains of rice,100 paper clips,100 t-shirts, and many more. This would be a great book for kindergarten to early or upper elementary students. It would also be a great resource for math as it introduces different concepts. Additionally, it would make a great "in the basket" book for students to read in their free time.
