Red Rain is the first part of a three-part series I first read as a small boy; the influence it had on me can still be felt to this day. I'm still scared of dark alleys, necks freak me out, and this portrayal of Batman has got to rank up there with the best. Who can possibly beat Batman at his own game, except for Dracula? It's paced brilliantly; the artwork is perfect. You haven't seen Batman until you've seen him fighting vampires.

This is an operatic Horror comic that seamlessly blends two of my favorite things: The Dark Knight and vampires. It's a bit corny but that's part of the appeal.
