Jean Fahey Eberle (–2010)

An interesting (to a local) historical and photographic account of the origins, present and potential future of the Midtown area of St. Louis, along Grand Avenue around the Fox Theater and St. Louis University area. It used to be a thriving entertainment and bar/restaurant area, fell into decline, and is slowly beginning a renaisance of sorts. Here's hoping. At least since publication of the book, the Fabulous Fox theater has been gloriously restored, and has been the site of several of my favorite concert events.… (mais)
