Race naar de maan 3D een nieuwe kijk op onze eerste… por David J. Eicher

Een goed leesbaar overzicht van de amerikaanse maanreizen. Zonder in allerlei superlatieven te vervallen wordt het verhaal van de astronauten verteld. De foto's zijn voor het grootste deel in 3D te bekijken. Dat geeft wel iets extra's aan het boek. Het blijft wel een populaire verhandeling.

Dixie Betrayed: How the South Really Lost the Civil… por David J. Eicher

The prognosis is that the South lost the War because J. Davis surrounded himself with poor quality man, hence a book which consists of brief biographies of his cabinet. Drunkeness seems to be the overriding problem. I found it to be not enlightening and a bit dull.
