A melange of newspaper articles, memoirs, poetry, short stories, recipes and craft instructions. Most have some connection with Minnesota although it's odd to have included the poem by Elizabeth Madox Roberts, who appears never to have been closer to Minnesota than Chicago, and is known as a Kentucky writer, and a story by the Irish writer Frances Browne, who seems never even to have visited the United States.
