About the Author
Clarence J. Enzler was born March 2, 1910 in Dubuque, Iowa. He received a B.A. degree from Loras College in Iowa in 1931 and a Ph.D. in sociology from the Catholic University of America in 1939. He married Kathleen Crowley on November 6, 1937 and they had thirteen children. Doctor Enzler served on mostrar mais the faculty of three colleges: College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, St. Francis College in Pennsylvania, and Loras College in Iowa. He also held high positions in the U.S. Department of Agriculture for more than thirty years. It was upon his spiritual nature, however, that he concentrated his writing. Enzler wrote the very popular My Other Self (1958), Everyman's Way of the Cross (1970), which became a best-selling prayer booklet, and In the Presence of God (1973).
