The Evans Symposium: Witchcraft and the Gay… por Arthur Evans
A wide-ranging excursion showing a continuum between paganism, Catharism and witchcraft (e.g. Joan of Arc), which represented an undercurrent in nominally Christian societies. The pagan horned god was turned in to the Devil and witches were therefore accused of worshipping theDevil. Sex rites were common. Homosexuality was seen as heresy.
Interesting synthesis with some intriguing ideas. I don't agree with everything Evans has to say, but certainly admire his effort. Helps us reclaim our true history and inspires us too.
