Moody and atmospheric, this book w as a surprise. I liked it more then I thought I would.
It is slow to involve the reader so don't give up on it. I liked the writing as the story is told in almost a dream like way. It is very much a domestic thriller with a brooding and mysterious atmosphere against the backdrop of the Pacific Northwest.
SPOILERS:
Ending..I was actually a b it surprised with this one and I can figure out alot of thrillers so this was a good thing. I'd have liked the book to be a wee bit longer as you get more and more involved in the storyline as the book goes on instead of the other way around which was cool.
Mystery lovers should seek this one out… (mais)
