This is a great book but extremely graphic. Still, it tells the story of WWII Nazis and the Jews they tortured. A must read so that we never forget.

Bremen is a member of the Hitler Youth when he turns his parents in for treason. He grows to be the perfect Nazi - until he falls in love and secretly marries. Then he turns from heartless and evil to a man who is willing to risk his life to help Jewish prisoners to freedom.
