A good, clean story, but a little too light. Author has talent, but this may not be their best book.

"Faith Restored" by Morris Fenris

My Assessment:

'Faith Restored' was a fantastic read of how well Paula Schaffer, the head chef, with a group of friends, were happily operating the restaurant at the Oceanside Inn that Steven owned. With the Christmas holiday coming, Paula hired two new sous chefs to help out hiring Jimmy and Adele. However, trouble comes for Paula when her ex-husband, Bobby, appears out of nowhere and insists on bothering her, even though she has said no. Along with this problem, a recipe is stolen and printed in the local newspaper. Now, the problem will be who did this? The author gives the reader a good read on how this all happens where suspicion will be all around on just who had done this and why? While this is going on, it seems like Jimmy, the new hire, may have feelings for his boss. With Paula's ex showing up and seeming not to take no for an answer...how will this come out? Oh, and who is stealing the recipes? One thing that one will like is that since Jimmy has been hired, he seems to be right where he needs to be because he had once lost his faith due to his father's death, who a drunken driver had killed. Steven, owner of the restaurant, knowing his father and him, made Jimmy realize he was in the right job and was glad to be there. In the end, will Paula and Jimmy find their way to happiness?

How will this dramatic, heartwarming story turn out? First, you will have to pick up 'Faith Restored' and see how well it's been brought out to the reader.… (mais)

Oh my goodness this is a really good book. It grabs you from the first chapter and won’t let go. I could not put this book down. I really enjoyed reading this book. I’m looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
