Short and light second chance romance with a surprise baby on the side. Liked the main characters. However, the plot didn't feel real. It was a bit too perfect and a little on the sappy side for my tastes.
Austin makes me swoon
A cute and sweet read. For me this book went by so fast because it was so good. I loved Austin so much his morals, his dog, and his love for Bree had me swooning. I felt so bad for Bree when we find out what she has been keeping close to her all these years and never confiding in anyone until Austin. I enjoy these books and can’t wait for the next ones.

I enjoyed this story. Lyla is up for anything and has a very active imagination. She was raised by her grandmother, a former burlesque dancer. Aiden is more circumspect, but he is ready to come out of his self-imposed exile. When they finally get together, it is hot!
I liked how Aiden's friends are his cheerleaders. They push him into Lyla's arms (so to speak.) Lyla's grandmother's lessons are also put to use.
I look forward to the rest of the series.… (mais)
