Ken Floyd

The author has put together a nice action novel in which the U.S. government authorities race a self-proclaimed vigilante millionaire and his mercenary to stem a terrorist plot to bomb the Hoover Dam. Devoid of profanity, the writing is straight forward and pulls the reader to the exciting conclusion. The extra twist of competing protagonists with similar but slightly different goals makes for an interesting story to the end and a 4-star for the genre.

Terrorists strike in the Houston shipping channels. A mysterious man known as David has Drake Conyers, a hired mercenary tracking them down. The FBI has agents Don Veron and Rick Tiller also in pursuit to bring the terrorists to justice.

This is such an exciting and fast paced book. It was great fun getting to know the characters and what makes them tic. This was my first Ken Floyd but not my last. Anyone who like to read books that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat needs to read this book. I was sorry when it ended but all good things must come to an end.
