I wasn't crazy about Mary's style - it was very messy looking and the colors were muddled, with terrible contrast. I liked 1.5 of the 12 projects - the anomalies in the book.

Make & Love Quilts: Scrap Quilts for the 21st Century por Mary Katherine Fons

When I first started quilting, a billion years ago, (elder)Fons & Porter's books were my initial inspiration. I would flip through them endlessly, imagining my future scrappy masterpieces.

These days, my aesthetic has changed pretty dramatically, but I still appreciate traditionally-inspired scrap quilts. I particularly liked Herzog and Rum Raisin in this book.
