Fatal error: Call to undefined function isLitsy() in /var/www/html/inc_magicDB.php on line 425- Art Freeman's work in cognitive therapy has had a significant impact on professional and general audiences. He has written a series of books for professionals that apply cognitive methods -- those that seek to change a person's internal thinking processes in order to alter their perceptions and behavior -- to severely disturbed populations. He has devoted much of his career to working with the sort of difficult patients whom other practitioners may dread -- those with chronic, intractable personality disorders that lead them to be very manipulative amd deceptive and to constantly test borders.
Freeman is Chair of the psychology department at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. [adapted from The Mummy at the Dining Room Table (2003)]
