Bargaining with the Bride is the story how Rachael calls off her engagement to one man, but doesn't have the guts to admit to her parents that she's calling off the wedding that they paid so much for. So she strikes a deal with her boss, Garret, to a 'fake marriage' because she figures getting married, then divorced would be the lesser of two evils. Garret goes into the arrangement for reasons of his own. But pretty soon, as can be expected, it becomes more than an arrangement to the two of them.

I really enjoyed this book. It was cute, sweet, funny, and very romantic. Very early on I fell in love with Garret. It really is no wonder that Rachael fell in love with him too. It was fun watching these two. Rachael had some truly awful people in her life. It was good for her to have someone like Garret.

This was a very quick read and while I liked the fast pace so I wouldn't have to wait long to get to the end, I was also kind of disappointed when I got to the end because I wish it all had been drawn out a little bit more. So my only complaint about this book is that I wanted more of it!… (mais)

Some of the most outlandish scenarios can deliver the most humbling of messages. Anyone whose read Erin Nicholas and her Sapphire Falls series knows that to be true. Going Crazy for You by Allison Gatta, may not be as over the top, however it still causes butterflies in the heart with it's message. "Never take for granted the people you love", a motto that we know to be true, but neglect to take to heart until a tragedy happens almost out of the blue. Loss bring a reluctant Wade home to the one place, he hoped to forget. An adorable nephew and a pretty face, could have him hedging his bets. Any trip to Sapphire Falls is a pleasure.… (mais)
