I recommend this book to ages 5 and up. A LOT of information is on each page.

I will be reading this to my preschoolers 2-4 and will be selecting what pages to introduce them to. This is a very long book and i feel like way to much for the little ones to stay focused and stay still will.

A is for Aloha is a great book that uses each letter of the alphabet to tell its readers about Hawaii. I think this book can be used in the classroom to teach children the alphabet, but it is also good to introduce Hawaii. I really enjoyed this book. I like how at the back of the book it gives you the pronunciation and definition of the Hawaiian words. Some adults should also add this book to their collections.

This book would be great of reaching diversity and information about different parts around the world.

I purchased this book while on my trip to Hawaii because of its beautiful, colorful illustrations and all of its helpful information about Hawaii. I did this for a read aloud in second grade and the students had so many questions about this foreign place they had never seen, and enjoyed writing about it afterwards.
