About the Author

Daniel Grant is a contributing editor of American Artist magazine. He is the author of six books including The Artist's Guide: Making it in New York City, How to Grow as an Artist, and The Fine Artist's Career Guide (all published by Allworth Press). His articles and essays have appeared in such mostrar mais publications as ARTnews, Art in America, the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, New Criterion, Art Auction, and Art Antiques, among others. Daniel Grant has created a comprehensive guide on how to make not just a living, but a strong business from your art. With information on creating a competitive website, selling your art and handling the post-exhibition blues, Daniel provides advice that every artist needs to sketch into their plans. And in case one may be skeptical of his word he provides quotes from several successful artist to back his claims. The worst result one could get from this book is finding that they spent a day reading about things they already know.
