This book has the history of dance. It highlights everydance that is from a culture and it explains the costumes from the head to the toe. I loved this book it would be great to introduce dance to children or for a history lesson in highschool for a dance class.

Without music or movement, it is difficult to explain dance, yet this book called Dance – a volume in the Eyewitness Books Series from Knopf Publishing – does an admirable job. In just 60 pages, author Andrée Grau and the book’s photo editors provide an amazing overview of the artists, the art, and the craft of dance in nearly every context – from religious to ballet to folk dance – from nearly every continent.
