I really enjoyed this book. The story kept me intrigued from the beginning as I moved quickly through the enfolding mysteries. Which of these fascinating characters would find the treasure and kill the evil Nazi war criminal? Would it be the trained assassin/terrorist, the over-the-hill Mossad agent, or the Egyptian beauty with a reputation to restore? Meanwhile, an international information broker plays games with them all, pitting them against one another in the race to capture the treasure.

It follows true thriller tradition as surprises abound, keeping readers on the edge of our seats while we dash around the globe in search of the villains.

If I had one complaint about this book, it would be the cover, which does not capture the essence of the story. Had I not been intrigued by the synopsis and then received this book in a Goodreads Giveaway, I never would have purchased the book after seeing the cover. It does not do the story justice. I’m sure it is a turnoff for some potential purchasers. If I hadn’t received this book and read it despite its cover, I would have missed out on a terrific, heart-stopping reading experience. Don’t let the cover deceive you!

Note: 1/12/13 - I just saw on Amazon that the e-book version has a new cover Dark red background with mask larger in the middle. Great improvement! Now, I'm happy :)

I am having a really hard time finishing this book. I am not able to keep up with what's going on since the story goes back and forth. I may try to come back to the book and finish it another time.

Three vie to find and recover the lost City of Troy treasure found by Schliemann in 1873 from a vicious Nazi. Each has major character flaws that define their actions and desires. Despite this, the characters are shallow and superficial. Some brutal scenes may shock and offend some readers.
