I loved this story. This is a book that should be read to every child who is about to become a brother or sister for the first time. This is told from the perspective of a young boy who has just met is baby sister. All she does is fusses and makes messes so he calls her a monster. His wise grandmother tells him what to do to discover how to defeat this monster. Before long he has learned she is a kid just like him and loves her so very much.

Our main charecter is upset about his new little sister, he's convinced she's a monster. She poops and cries and makes their parents sleepy. So tired, they can't even play anymore! He's sick of this monster! One day, during a game of spies, Grandma convinces him to try and get to know the monster. Soon, he's watching her grow up, and she's bringing him toys. He comes to love his sister and hates seeing her sad.
I feel like books about older siblings are overdone, but this was really cute. The scene where the sister smiles and brings her brother a banana was so cute! I also liked the drawing of the monster-baby.… (mais)

This book got read via an Amazon KINDLE download.

My inner-child and I enjoyed reading this book,
For at the dinosaur party through a bug’s eyes we look.

The bug is rather special you see,
For at the party, a dragonfly it had to be.

The KINDLE reader in order to be read,
Not one, but two pages had to be seen instead.

Opened to two pages you could see the entire beautiful drawing,
Instead of seeing just half, with the other half missing.

Counting backward was a fun new treat,
It made inner-child learn a new feat.

Trying to find the dragonfly on each of two pages,
It should turn out to be fun for all ages.

Reading this story had been very enjoyable since it’s been written in rhyme,
Too bad books can’t be written like this all the time.

As the party came to a close,
It became time to take a rest as everyone knows.

So, it in end my inner-child and I perceive,
That it is 5 STARS the author should receive.

The Pajama Zoo Parade: The Funniest Bedtime ABC Book (Short and Funny Bedtime Stories for Children Ages 3-5, that Every Parent will Enjoy) (The Funniest ABC Books 2) by Agnes Green
I just can't imagine a parade where everybody is wearing their pajamas LOL
This book for me was read to read because I was not able to increase the font size of the words.
Alphabetically the animals get ready for bed by putting their pj's on. So comical the pages. This is also a rhyming book.
Cute ending also… (mais)
