This girl is kidnapped, repeatedly raped, and forced into slavery for her captor. But it's not until she's forced to undergo abortion and sterilization that she snaps? It's all awful (though the telling and exposition of it ruins the impact), but why is that the tipping point? What was stopping her from beating his head in with a cast iron pan before?
The D&D elements come off as copying more then homage to me.
This is multiple chapters of character creation, which includes the MC picking an alignment and rolling stats. Even with a god to play handwave that not only doesn't make sense in this context, it drags the narrative to a crawl.
If this were something on KU I might consider giving it more time, but for a separate purchase there's just no way.… (mais)
