This is a great coming of age story about 17 year old Raven who was too scared to admit to herself that she might like girls. When she meets Morgan, she is forced to start examining herself and what her feelings might mean.

While Gravity and Dare Truth or Promise got 3 1/2 stars, I'm giving Everything Changes 4 stars, mainly because I found the ending a little more realistic. Raven knew something was 'wrong' because she wasn't attracted to boys like her best friends Summer and Chloe. Nor was she overly attracted to girls...that is until she meet Morgan. Sitting side by side on a couch, tingles shot up Raven's arm whenever their arms accidently brushed against each other. It was nothing like she ever felt before. It was at that point she knew she craved the touch of Morgan just like Summer and Chloe craved the touch of boys.

The problems are (1) how to get comfortable herself with this revelations and (2) how to break this news to family and friends. That's the crux of Everything Changes and the subject is handled very well. In this 'enlightened' day and age, not everyone is immediately accepting of homosexuality, including the person herself. It may take time.

Everything Changes is a fast and satisfying read.

I really loved Everything Changes a coming of age story when 17 year old Raven finally realizes she is gay. When Morgan comes along feelings Raven has never felt before explode inside her something she had never had with a guy. Morgan is in college and has been out as a lesbian for awhile. Morgen has had relationships before and really likes Raven but does not want to take a step backwards in her life having to hide a relationship. Is Raven too afraid to come out about being a lesbian all these feelings are so new. As all young gay people go through Raven is terrified how her friends, kids at school and family will handle this. This YA novel is an adoring read for people of all ages. It takes you back to your first crush and it also shows how hard it is for young gay people making sense of their feelings and life. There is so much to this book. You will really enjoy this read.
(I got this book from NetGalley for a honest review)
