A great book from a great man. Fairly dated, but the man who wrote this book was so filled with humility you could tell from his words that he was a great leader. Pretty good. The only reason I didn't rate it ***** is because it is so dated. For a time piece it is brilliant, but also if you get over the decade/century it was written in then it is pretty good for a reminder of our humanity and how a good government is run by human beings who need to remember to act like human beings.

Published in 1982, during some of the more extreme Cold War times. An extremely liberal joke at best, there's not much in this book that can be termed useful today. Best as a collector's item since it was written by Ted Kennedy.
